   Dropped right in, significantly brighter. I took a shot in daylight (and at night, but I think the difference is actually easier to see on a camera with daylight). In person, the difference is really apparent at night. Great for me, feel sorry for everybody behind me. Not too pleasant to look at haha, but that’s not the point is it?
   Now to see how they hold up over time..

   They’ve used my picture which is fine, BUT my left light is NOT halogen, it’s an incandescent.

   I put these in place of the 1156 bulbs my older John Deere compact utility tractor used for hood headlights. These are much brighter. The average lumens per standard incandescent 1156 is 400 and these are advertised as 1200, which are probably close to the max you are going to find currently for this form factor bulb. They appear well made and hopefully will be durable. I’ll post an update if they ever conk out (which isn’t too likely since they should last at least 20000 hours and I only have 1200 hours on my tractor engine hour meter after 20 years!).
