Very Bright This was the last in a series of headlamp and fog lamp upgrades I’ve performed on my vehicles. The LED is instant-on, much brighter and the light pattern more uniform than traditional halogen and incandescent bulbs. They run much cooler and don’t draw anywhere near as much current either, which is great if you’ve upgraded your sound system and don’t have much left to spare. To gain access to the headlights on the passenger side, I recommend removing the one bolt holding the air intake hose and the two bolts holding the coolant expansion tank. It takes only a minute, and it will save you a lot of time and struggle trying to get your hand into the narrow space if you do not remove them and move the pieces out of the way.
