I have oil pressure again Used this pump to replace a factory failed oil pump. Truck is a 2005 6.0l Chevy, oil pressure at idle is 50psi and cruising runs 70+. Not an easy install, but saved my engine since the factory pressure relief valve stuck and resulted in NO pressure at idle.

Pressure relief spring threaded plug stripped As of right now the only problem that I have with the pump is the pressure relief spring threaded plug was too tight from factory. The threaded Allen head started to strip, so I could change out the spring. I was pretty upset that I could change at the spring, but I couldnât wait for another pump, so I went ahead and used it anyway.
