   I recently bought the Opt7 kit with 6000k bulbs and sometimes it takes trial and error to get exactly what you want. I can save you some money. If you want bright HID’s with a hint of blue( It’s there even after warm up), then get the 6000K bulbs. If you want a few more lumens AND a more standard but brighter white light, get the 5000k bulbs like here in this review. When I changed to the 5000K bulbs they were a little blue at startup but when they reach peak they are white, white, white! This is what I wanted. Couldn’t be happier!

   Got the bulbs ahead of schedule (a day early). I got these to replace another set of HID bulbs that had one bulb burn out. Came in a plain white rectangular box. Bulbs were in the standard plastic screw-on protectors. There was no other padding in the box.

   Went to install them and found the 2 blade plugs that plug into the vehicle harness didn’t match. The plugs are supposed to be polarized (one bigger than the other). Both the HID harness plugs were the same size and didn’t fit into the plugs on the vehicle harness. Annoying. Only after I spend an hour and a half modifying the plug by cannibalizing the old HID bulb’s plugs I got them to work. On the plus they are nice and bright, the right color, but on the minus the passenger side is flickering intermittently.

   Pros

   Fast shipping
   Color is correct 5000K
   Nice a bright

   Cons

   Plugs didn’t fit the vehicle harness (had to modify them to fit)
   Passenger side is flickering intermittently

   I want to like these, but for $3 more you can get Kensuns which have gotten a lot better reviews. I’ll update if anything changes.
