OPT7 55w 5000K HID KIT vs. KENSUN 35w 4300 HID KIT,
As far as heat goes, I tested a Sylvania Halogen with an OPT7 55w HID… temperature emissions with my hand cupped about 1 inch away (OPT7 were cooler). As for color, I originally bought the 6000K OPT7, but they had a slight blue-ish tint (not heavy, but a noticeable ‘aftermarket’ color compared to stock vehicle bulb temperatures). Kelvin color is a personal preference. Some drivers are into an exterior appeal. I returned the 6,000K for the 5,000K, personally preferring the more plain white they produce (no slight yellow or blue hue, plus I can see the road a tad clearer).
