Got this lights installed in the instrument cluster of a 2000 Honda civic Ex. They worked great as advertised but i don’t recommend them to replace the dashboard/instrument cluster lights. Since they are Directional lights, they don’t spread out well and don’t light up the entire cluster the way it supposed to like the originals.

Look great, easy to install in my 2000 Jeep Wrangler TJ gauge cluster.

Only needed 5 so I have spares – the new bases were a nice touch but feel cheaper than stock.

They are directional so test before you put the dash back together and if they don’t light up, turn them around and check the connections before assuming them bad.

For those with TJ’s, these only fit the gauges, you need http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KVXTSEK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for the climate controls.

    Pros:
    – Work well
    – Cheap enough
    – Bright
    – New bases
    – Pleasantly surprised that there are no bright and dark spots on the gauges

    Cons:
    – Mildly cheap feeling
    – Don’t dim (However I didn’t expect them to dim)

I’ll update if I have issues in the future, but with 5 spares, it’s likely I won’t have a problem.

Used these for our 2002 Dodge caravan, the fit and work great. Installation was pretty easy and straight forward, I was able to get them in polarity correct. The are easy enough to rotate around if the are installed incorrectly. I installed a bulb, checked it and went to the next one to make sure they worked and were in the correct polarity, doing this in the evening or in a garage where you can turn off the lights helps.
The lamps do dim with the panel switch, but are still somewhat bright. Attached are before and after photos.
