Super bright! They give off better lighting than the old original bulbs as you can see from the drivers map light Vs the rear door courtesy lights. Thats where I had the problem I tried 3 different bulbs in the socket and could not get them to light up i even bent the brass to be a little tighter and that did not work. its very difficult to install in my overhead rear door lights….am semi happy …..,worked in one place and didn’t in the other. Not for license plate light replacement. Great lights. Base was bigger than current license plate light. Donât recommend these to replace license plate light bulbs. But could be used in another location with similar base.
Doesn’t shut off! They were very bright. Looked great. But wouldn’t fit in the map reader of my car. I had to drill a bigger hole to get them to fit. But then after all of them were in even with the switch turned off they still illuminated very dim but wouldn’t shut completely off.
