Silverado Radiator Cover – Great Clips! I used these for that large cosmetic plastic cover/shield that sits on top of the radiator on a 2004 Chevy Silverado pickup. This cover holds the top of the grille in place too, so having the rights clips is critical. These clips are a tight and perfect fit. I originally used the correct part number (GM clips) and they would just fall out, to thin. These clips push down tightly, and when the pin is inserted, keeps them solidly in place. these are a touch bigger than the ones I was … these are a touch bigger than the ones I was trying to replace but that is my fault for not measuring exactly. they work well but the reason for only 4 stars is that they are a harder, brittle plastic than the stock ones and so couldn’t be modified to work. I am sure they fit elsewhere and can be used for other purposes so I have kept them.
Donât buy these!! These clips are terrible. The plastic is so hard it will break before you even install them. The clips donât fit in the holes either. Total waste of money. I purchased 80 of these and they all went straight in the trash.
