Don’t pay more, the build quality and stopping power are excellent, and very very clean. 2014 C7 Z51. A fantastic find. Don’t let the excellent price slow you down, the build quality is excellent, and brake dust is 10% of factory pads, and braking is at least as good, and that’s cold, hot should be better, so a win, win. Installation: Remove the tire and drive out two pins. Couldn’t be easier. One heads up, the front inner factory pads seem to have a glue backing on them, but knowing that, a little prying on alternate corners and they popped right out. Since they only had 9K miles…
Replacing the original pads with these z26 pads is a must-do I replaced the almost new pads on my Corvette with these z26 pads. The Brembo pads (oem) gave off so much brake dust that I just had to get rid of them. Ask anyone who has them and you’ll see what I mean. These z26 pads perform as well as the original pads. No fade and nothing not to like. Replacing the original pads with these z26 pads is a must-do unless you enjoy being a slave to cleaning your wheels after every drive. Not for me.
My new 2016 Z51 has been great in every aspect My new 2016 Z51 has been great in every aspect,………….except the stock brake pads on the Z51 option, while being great in stopping power, they are also filthy dirty. Upon reading many recommendations on a Corvette forum I purchased a full set of the Z26 compound pads, bedded them per instructions, and the dust issue is a thing of the past, while stopping power is outstanding. Will be shopping for Power Stop pads when my other vehicles are due.
