’84 Fiero charging system problems solved! Purchased this alternator to replace a cheap 60amp one that wasn’t doing a very good job. Direct bolt on to my 1984 Pontiac Fiero with the Iron Duke. Idle amps at 102 and at peak 168, far better than the old one. The autoparts purchased alternator was only charging my battery at around 13.5v-13.9v. saweeeet excellent product. fit perfect. took minutes to install. came with the upper bolt which was great and came with the power wire for one wire operation which is also great. came with a dyno sheet that stated 94 amps at idle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i turned my OBA system and my offroad lights on along with everything else at it held voltage at idle!!!!!!! my 350 idles at 650 rpms and it still held voltage like a champ!!! i would give 6 stars if i could!
