I decided to go with the Powermaster and i’m so glad i did I replaced everything but my starter to try to get past a SLOW Cranking issue when my 350 was warmed up or at operating temp. Nothing worked. I decided to go with the Powermaster and i’m so glad i did. I no longer have a slow start. This starter doesnt flinch.. turns motor over easily.. cold or warm or hot… no issues. I would highly recommend it… the positioning options was key with my application since i run headers that are tight to my block.
Incomplete package So far is working, but it does not come with offset shims. Only straight shims are included. Offset shims have to be purchased separately.
C3 Corvette with headers This starter works great on my 72 vette with headers. No more hot starts. Also, if you have converted your car to HEI, you do not need to connect the white starter wire. I zipped tied mine out of the way.
