Mis-identified I ordered 2 of these because of the price and I will only use 27 watt bulbs with them. The item is well made and meets my expectations. The problem is, there was no socket type or application listed anywhere. I erroneously read the P/N ( 230880HD)to indicate it was for an H880 socket type. Well, it isn’t; it will work, in some manner, with socket types H8, H11, H881, H889, H894, H896, and H898. Stranger yet, I mistakenly ordered H881 bulbs with them. Worked like a charm Amazon said it wouldn’t fit my 2011 Chevy Malibu, but it did. The Malibu head light has three wires that connect to the main harness, two black and one yellow. Luckily both black wires connect together at the main head light connector(the old burnt out one). I simply connected both black wires to this harness’s black wire and I connected the yellow to the purple wire. Worked like a charm.
perfect this plugged into the 898 bulb perfectly… tight seal, no problems whatsoever. I had to convert from H4 because of an order that looked right, but the bulb was different.
