Great upgrade for OEM speakers, and amazing price. Great replacement for OEM speakers. These speakers fit nicely in my ’17 Forester front doors. Had to modify the enclosure from the original speakers to fit these. They are a great upgrade to the standard speakers that come with the car. In addition, I also installed some 2.15″ PowerBass mid-tweeters in the dash corner position with bass blocking capacitors at 1.2kHz. I can finally sleep now that these came in. I was really looking forward to this coming in and did lots of research on this product. I installed off brand speakers that my friend gave me and had him help me hook them up, well he switched the polarity, so they have sounded distorted this whole time. After figuring out exactly how to hook these up, I ordered them, replaced my head unit, and eventually installed these. The Sony head unit gave these speakers what they needed.
