- 3 mil thick so it’s strong enough to resist the elements, but not too thick to apply easily.
Use a heat gun or hair dryer Take your time, clean the lenses, apply the tint, trim the tint, and use a warming device to melt the tint edges to the lenses while using your finger nail or credit card to fold in any excess tint you didn’t trim off to the side of the lense. Look great but we’ll see how long they last under the Cali sun.
Use a heat gun on them! Good stuff at less than half the cost of other people. I applied all of them with a soapy water spray bottle, a squeegee, and a heat gun. The heat gun is what really seals the deal on these. They look fantastic after installation, almost OEM! It’s hard to see in the picture, but if you look to the left of the front bumper you can see where the AMBER light WOULD be. Sorry for the lack of detailed pictures but this is the only one I got before it went away for the winter.
