  1. Good fit for a 2001 Silverado reg cab 2wd I ordered this for a 2001 Silverado Reg cab 2wd pickup. Kept hearing a grinding while driving. Lifted truck, put hands on 12 and 6, and the wheel had 1 to 2 inches of play so it was definitely a bad wheel bearing. Ordered a new one from amazon on a Tuesday, said it would be in on Friday. Didn’t arrive until the next Monday. The biggest issue with the installation was getting the old bearing off. New one went on with no issues. Truck sounds and drives so much better. 3. Well made Product. Well made, outstanding product. I installed in in about an hour. The product looks exactly like the OEM (except for a cover plate on the inboard side of the bearing). This is an absolute plug-in replacement on the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RWD. And the best part – It’s Made in the USA.Great job Timken!
