Vortec heads on a 72 Chevrolet Truck I put late model Vortec heads on a 72 Chevrolet 350. I wanted it to look somewhat stock and the truck valve covers that came with the Vortec heads put the breather holes in exactly the wrong locations. You need Camaro or Trans-am Valve covers. I ordered these and it took over a month to get them but they are exactly as advertised! The breather holes are exactly where they need to be for a stock 72 Chevrolet Truck with a 350 engine.
