Beautiful craftmanship I decided to opt for this product because it was steel instead of aluminum. Heavier but stronger, and they look great. I have not attempted to install or use them, so I cannot comment on their utility yet. One gripe: neither of them fits in in the pre-molded slot in the foam insert in the trunk, so they are kind of just pinned under the trunk carpet right now (though that seems to be keeping them in place so far). It’s not red. It’s very much not red. Compared to the red calipers, this thing is pink or magenta. I’m gonna have to paint it. Or I should have just purchased a black one. Definitely not red.
Easy to Install Installed the hooks on my C7 for a track day at Laguna Seca. They installed easily but luckily, I did not need to use them for their intended purpose. Hooks uninstalled just as easily.
