Increases Scuffing on Your Corvette Door Sill I have a 2017 stingray, Z-51 that is 3 months old. I noticed one slight arbasion near the corvette insignia on the door sill. So, I bought these “guards” to prevent further scuffing. I had them on for about a week and noticed scuffing in new places on my sills. I assumed it was the guard that was getting scuffed. Dangerous Go on easily and protect sill from boot scuffs, but can mar the finish of the doorsills at the ends. Anyone trying to keep their car in pristine condition will remove the sill protectors and always make sure to fully lift their feet to clear the sills to avoid both scuffing an sill-end damage.
Great protection, retains water Fit very well and easy to put on. Only issue is I didn’t realize how much water would get under the plastic when you wash the car or it’s raining. You have to take them off/on to dry the underside. Be interested if they hold up over time.
