Don’t use as Daytime Running Lights! I’ve had good luck with Yorkim led’s in the past but for some reason these 3157’s keep burning out. I’ve got them installed as daytime running lights and so far it’s happened twice in a short period of time where I pull into a parking space facing a glass window and I can see in the reflection the bulbs flickering. I’m gonna keep replacing them with what’s left in my 10 pack but I’m assuming they’ll keep burning out… I wouldn’t buy if you’re planning on running them as DRL’s.
Even though they fit, and light up, they might not be for your vehicle. I bought some of these to take the load off my truck alternator during hot summer trips. I only replaced the tail lights. Soon after, my ABS light came on, followed by loss of cruise control, then overdrive, in that order. After spending 200 bucks at a garage, I was informed the LEDs caused the problem. Because of the resistance, my truck’s ECM thought the taillights were gone, and proceeded to shut systems down until I finally stopped and took care of the problem. My truck is old, an a ’96…
Great product AMAZING! Bright and beautiful , unfortunately 6th gen become longer than 5th gen, so it didn’t fit in my 2016 Civic, but 2016 murano license plate fits just fine! Hope they will last long
