  1. Cheap and Unsafe These are cheap and i would not use them. The most concerning thing is that the wires are all insulation, there is almost no copper in them! I measured with my wire strippers, and they come out to be 18 AWG. The oem on the Miata i was installing them on was 12 AWG… Im no engineer but if the OEM wires are that big there is a reason. So i went to NAPA and got some moderatley better connectors there.Also these ones do not plug in easily because the conectors are all loose in the…

  2. Fit 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ, but poor quality While I am happy that these fit, be warned that they are of poor construction. I had to be extremely careful not to break them during installation. Sadly, there are no convenient splice points on my vehicle and these replacement sockets only have several inches of wire, so I had to cut the 19 year old corroded original sockets off and solder the flimsy new Dorman’s in their place.   3. Horrible! Absolute garbage. Do not waste your money. The connectors (the metal tabs) are poorly constructed and misaligned, and the plastic housing is insufficient to hold the connectors in place. Every time I tried to push the head onto the bulb tabs, the misaligned connectors would push out of the back of the head. After taking everything apart so I could unbend the bent metal connectors, the head was utterly useless because it’s made from such cheap plastic. Horrible product. Dorman should be…
