Bang for the buck. I just installed these yesterday in my Dodge Charger. Very bright and visibility increased significantly. The bright blue/white color really makes it seem like a new car. The price is right and very happy with my purchase.Only negative is that the cooling fans are a bit loud, but not so much that they’re very noticeable over the sound of the engine. I’ll update if I ever have issues with the durability.
Requires modification to work properly Update 10/19/16: There seems to be a design flaw with the 9004 bulbs (maybe others as well?). The spec for the distance from the mounting flange to the filament on a traditional 9004 bulb is 44.5mm. The distance from the mounting flange to the center of the LED array on these bulbs is closer to 41mm. This isn’t a huge difference, but the distance is CRITICAL for the headlight housing to focus properly.I was able to correct this issue, but the repair is involved and I don’t expect…
Much better than halogen, great HID alternative I see a lot of complaints about LED lights I think that is because: 1) LEDs aren’t really meant for non-projector headlights they scatter light which isn’t great for just regular headlights, projectors focus the light better and 2) you should really readjust your headlights after installing to get the most out of them.For me, these bulbs have really improved the quality of light for my car.
